LA-based Lexie Park is a multidimensional artist / designer working in food under the name Nünchi. Born and raised in LA’s thriving garment industry, Lexie pursued a decade-long career in fashion, putting in time at Opening Ceremony in its heyday, and launching cult label, Phlemuns Nonbasics. Following a quarter-life crisis, Lexie combined her passion for cooking and design to form, Nünchi, a Korean word which loosely translates to empathy and emotional intelligence. Seeking to bring people together over food and culture, Nünchi debuted at Murmurs Gallery in summer of 2019 with an expansive presentation of edible jelly art. Since then, Nünchi has developed a thriving bespoke cake program, and created editorial and edible work for brands like Vans and Nike, among others.
