Eat Nünchi is the brainchild of Lexie Park and Willy Hu, a creative duo based in Los Angeles who blend food, art, and design through the playful medium of jelly. Lexie, with a background in fashion from Opening Ceremony and as the co-founder of Phlemuns Nonbasics, brings a strong visual sensibility to the work. Willy, trained in architecture and rooted in food tech, co-founded a company pioneering 3D food printing.
Together, they launched Eat Nünchi in 2019—an art practice that evolved into a full-fledged cake business. Their jelly creations, whimsical and transparent, evoke childlike nostalgia while feeling entirely new. Through floating, sculptural motifs, they reimagine dessert as immersive design.
Eat Nünchi has been featured in Vogue, W Magazine, and Wallpaper’s “300 Names to Know Now,” and has collaborated with brands like Skims, NARS, and Saint Laurent. At its core, the project is about translating emotion and memory into edible, visual experiences—making the familiar magical again.
